Poem

I reached for you

You were not there

I searched for

And couldn't find you

It frightened me

So much so that my heart

Shook and I felt it crack

I need to feel the heat from your skin underneath my hand as I let your breathing lull me back to sleep 

But I reached for you 

And

you were not there!!
